Helen Ruth Senkbeil, 97, of Salisbury, died Friday, February 14, 2025. Born in Laurel, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Charlie N. and Lillian M. Timmons. Her husband, Rodney C. Senkbeil preceded her in death in 2004.
Mrs. Senkbeil had been a Maryland Classified Employees Association (MCEA) member since 1971 and had been the Eastern Shore area director since 1993 for the retiree's chapter. She worked for the state of Maryland, retiring in 1988. She had been an Avon representative from November 1986 until July 2017. She was a member of Laurel Alumni Association and the Laurel Historical Society.
She is survived by two nephews, Gary E. Hearn and his wife Linda of McKeesport, PA and Lonnie L. Hearn of Elkton, MD, and a niece-in-law Lucinda Hearn of Dagsboro, DE. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Frances M.T. Hearn, nephew Terry F. Hearn, and two nieces, Iris J. Stuart and Janice M. Baker.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Joel Beiler will officiate. Interment will be at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Wicomico Nursing Home, 900 Booth Street, Salisbury, MD 21801.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.

Im so sorry to see this. She was a beautiful person inside out.she was our Avon lady,i checked on her time for time. I just happen to look and find out she has passed.Im so saddened to find out this late.May all my memories stay dear to my heart.
