Helen Stewart Obituary

Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Thomas and Ruby Brownlee Rush. Mrs. Stewart retired from Lowe's and was a member of St. James Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Donna Chastine (Denny), Dianne Stewart, and Thomas Stewart; grandchildren, Brad Stewart (Halley), Karen Kitchens (Stephen), Miller Roach (Elizabeth), and Mackenzie Stewart; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Daniel Lewis Stewart, Jr. and her siblings, Charles Rush and Carolyn Neighbors.
The family will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM in The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Clyde Scott. Burial will be held in Laurens City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. James Methodist Church.
