Helena Ann Wagenmann

Helena Ann Wagenmann (nee Ashdale, Chappell) of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2024. She was 59 years old. Helena was born in Abilene, Texas to the late Richard and Ellen (nee Kirke) Chappell. She is survived by her husband Joseph G. Wagenmann, her children Martin (Gina) and Daniel Ashdale, her mother Ellen (the late Nicholas) Lauterio and her siblings, Theresa Fox (Stuart), Jacqueline Chappell, Patrick Lauterio (Donnamarie), Scott Lauterio (Meredith), and Richard Lauterio.
Helena was a nurse of over 35 years providing care and comfort for those who needed it most. She had an outsized impact on those who knew her, both professionally and personally. She was empathetic, strong, supportive, and gentle to those she cared for. In her off time, she enjoyed camping with her family, spending time with her dogs (Murphy and Puddles), and endless Hallmark movies. After a long day of caring for her patients and her two sons, there wasn't anything she enjoyed more than chocolate ice cream with walnuts. Helena was kind, compassionate, and caring to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She was giving in every way possible, always putting the needs of others first until the very end. Those who were lucky enough to know her knew they had a friend, supporter, and confidant for life.
Relatives and friends are invited to Helena's Life Celebration on Monday June 24th, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Decker/Givnish Funeral Home 216 York Road, Warminster PA 18974 and to her Funeral Service on Tuesday June 25th, 2024 at 10:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Warminster 500 Madison Ave, Warminster, PA 18974.
