Henrietta Johnson

Henrietta Johnson, 74, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. She born in Queens, New York, on March 12, 1951, to Charles P. and Marion Evelyn Makowitch Sr. She worked as a secretary and loved to drink coffee, work on puzzles, and play bunko. Henrietta was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, Charles P. and Marion Evelyn Makowitch Sr., and her brother, Charles Makowitch Jr.

Henrietta is survived by her children, Peter (Celina) Camacho, Michael Camacho, and Karen Makowitch. Henrietta is also survived by her grandchildren, Merina Linn (Michael) Casarez, Christopher McCager Robertson, Ryan Mitchell Camacho, Amanda Leigh Camacho, and Jonah Wade Camacho, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm by Father Richard Gutierrez.

Henrietta's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience, and she will be remembered for these qualities by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
