Henry Bormann Jr, 92 of Olmsted Township passed away on April 20, 2023, while surrounded by family. Early in life, Henry met the love of his life, Betty, and quickly married. Shortly after marriage, Henry enlisted in the US Army and served two years and was honorably discharged. When he returned home from serving his country, he and his beloved wife started a family and raised five boys together (Douglas, Wayne, David, Dale and Henry III). To support his family Henry built tanks, and then ran a trucking company.
After retirement, Henry remained active, always being on the move, and could be seen around the community at various car shows, auctions, and businesses. Later in life, he enjoyed going to new places and exploring the countryside. Everywhere that Henry went he would make new friends and was sure to bring a smile to peoples faces, this held true even up to his last days.
Henry will always be remembered as a husband, family man, friend, and most of all overall a great man.
Henry is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty, and his sons Douglas, Dale, and Henry III. He is survived by his sons David (Lee) and Wayne (Malinda), many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park in Olmsted Township from 10am-12pm with services being held be held at 12pm
