Kenneth James Bormann, age 86, of Naperville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, to Albert and Edna (née Willie) Bormann. Ken served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife, Irene Bormann (née Masarek); his daughter, Sharon Sennett; son, Alan (Petronilla) Bormann; his grandchildren, Adam Bormann and Joshua Bormann. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Edna Bormann, and son-in-law, Brian Sennett.
Ken was a Glazier for most of his career from 1958 till 1997 and a proud lifelong member of the Glaziers' Union Local No. 27. He worked on putting glass in many buildings in Chicago (including the Sears tower). Kenneth enjoyed his hobbies with collecting beer and sports memorabilia. Also, he enjoyed the many dogs and collecting/ raising tropical fish over the years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 20225 from 9:00 a.m until the time of service 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, Illinois.
