Henry P. Muse, Jr. (Peanut) was born November 4, 1970. Beloved son of Nancy Banks and Henry P. Muse Sr. Surrounded by his loving family Henry (Peanut) departed this earthly life peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025.
A proud native of New Orleans, LA., he was educated in Orleans Parish Public School System.
Henry was baptized at an early age at Mount Zion United Methodist Church. He later joined Payne Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church, where he remained a member until his untimely demise.
"Peanut", as he was affectionately called, was known for his vibrant spirit and unique ability to brighten any room he entered. "Peanut" had a love for his family like no other and always made a point to be present at holiday and family gatherings. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. "Peanut" had a gift for making you laugh through his conversations. These are cherished memories..filled with joy and love.

Gregory Terry; granddaughters, Regan Magee, Uriah Price, Saige Robinson, Amaya Karriem, Semaj Robinson, and R shai Mason; grandsons, Bronx Turner, De'skye Adams and De'shane Robinson; aunts, Mildred Porter, Cheryl Banks, Rose, Sheila, Dorothy and Jacqueline Muse; uncles, Freddie, Curtis and Ray Charles Muse; great aunts, Willie Mae Lewis, Ida Tolbert, Jo Ann Peterson, Diane T. Peterson, Irene Peterson and Marion P. Gaines; longtime friends, Sharon Magee and Sandrell R. Williams.
Henry "Peanut" was preceded in death by his son, Shiquille Robinson; sister, Nicole Muse; grandparents, Bernice P. Holloway and Percy L. Holloway Sr., Fanny and Monroe Muse; aunts, Laura Holloway, Helena and Mercedee Muse; uncles, Jessie McFadden, Percy Holloway Jr., George, Shelby, Tommie and Samuel Muse.
Henry's life and presence leaves a lasting impression on a host of cousins and family friends as well as neighboring friends. Though his passing brings sorrow it will always be remembered not as a moment of grief, but as a celebration of a life well-lived
