Condolences to the entire family. I grew up on Royal Center Pike a few houses down from the Stephan family. I knew and truly cared for Mrs Stephan and babysat a few times for the children when I was in junior high. So very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Teresa Miller Umbarger

Mr. Stephan was my shop teacher at (then) Fairview Jr. High. A tall, friendly and very good teacher. Rest in peace.

My prayers are with the whole Stephan family! I have lots of great memories of Coach! Swim practice was hard but he knew how to get the best out of us! I always looked up to coach and respected him tremendously!! Swim team was a big family and he was the patriarch of it. I can still hear his "whistle" during a meet to pick up the pace, and I´ll always remember his accuracy in practice with a kick board!!
RIP Coach!! We´ll never forget you !!!!
