Henry L. Tibbs, 73, of Plymouth passed away on Monday October 6, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Henry was born in Knox, IN to the late Grant and Evelyn (Saylor) Tibbs.
Henry graduated from Knox High School and on March 3, 1973, he married the love of his life, Paula Trump, at Shiloh Wesleyan Church.
Henry owned and operated Circle T meat market for many years. He also worked for Holiday Rambler, Monaco Coach, and later for J & J Quality meats.
Henry was a family man. He cared deeply for his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He was known to call them at all times just to talk, something he looked forward to doing with his brother-in-law daily. He never knew a stranger, easily turning a quick trip into a long one by stopping to talk to everyone.
Henry loved to mow the grass. In his younger years he sang in several Christian groups, including duets with his loving wife. He was an active and faithful member of 4H, serving in many roles with the cows, including township beef leader as well as on the 4H council. He was a Godly man, a faithful member of the Wesleyan Church. He could fix anything using duct tape! He was also fond of his cat.
Henry leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Paula, his sons; Jason (Pauline) Tibbs, Jeremy (Courtney) Tibbs, and Bryce (Katlin) Tibbs, daughter in law Janet Tibbs, 16 grandchildren; Zachary, Chelsea, Keegan, Grace, Kennedy, Matthew, Morgan, Kassidy, Kamden, Layne, Bryan Prout, Mila, Maverick, Adalyne, Kimberlyn, and Kambria. His siblings also survive; Lila Cornelius. Jackie (Rex) Salyer, Cathy Hanselman, Jim (Margaret) Tibbs, and Francis (Karen) Tibbs.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Brad Tibbs, sisters Debra Ault and Doris Ross, brother, Harry Tibbs, and his half siblings, Harold and Paul Tibbs and Edna Kilner.
