Deloris Jean Manis, 92, of Lafayette, IN (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at St. Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lafayette. She was born on December 16, 1932 in Moline, IL to the late Roger Harvey and Katherine (Guthrie) Brown. Deloris graduated from Knox High School. On November 4, 1950, she married Lester L. "Bud" Manis at the Knox United Methodist Church. He passed away on October 5, 2012.
Deloris was a longtime member of the Winamac First United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women's group. She was devoted to her daughters and served as a leader for 4-H and Girl Scouts for many years. Deloris was an avid reader and a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting and ceramics. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She spent a lot of time with her grandchildren whom she cherished deeply. Deloris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
Private Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
