Born March 21, 1968, in Muncie, Indiana, to Carl J. and Karen Sue Oler Manis Jr., James lived in this community all of his life. He attended Hagerstown Schools and worked for ITD Engineering. James enjoyed working with computers.
Survivors include his brother, Carl Manis; Aunt, Kathy Oler; Uncle, Bill Oler; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Manis; and parents.
There will be no public services.
Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
