Herbert Spell Obituary
for Herbert Harold" Huck" Spell Jr, 63, who died Thursday, June 13, 2024.
Rev. Brian McFarlain will officiate the services. Visitation will be held at Matthews Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 8:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
"Huck" was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to many. He loved hunting, fishing, raising Jack Russell Dogs, and playing pool with the Veterans.
He was employed with the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home for over 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Spell; his three sons; Troy (Chasity) Vincent, Cody (Ashia) Vincent, and Bobby (Mary) Spell, eleven grandchildren, brothers, Harold Spell, Timmy Spell, sisters, Nora Burgess, Tammy Burgess.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Harold Spell Sr, and Lena Mae Landry Spell, granddaughter, Adelyn Rose Spell.
