Herman Denstorff Obituary

Herman Paul Denstorff, 88, of Elberfeld, IN passed away January 11, 2022. He was born August 19, 1933, to the late Pauline and Herman Denstorff. Herman graduated from Indiana University and served as 1st Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He worked for Bucyrus Erie, owned, and operated Stained Glass Overlay of Southern Indiana.
Martha Sue (Gentry) Denstorff, 89 of Elberfeld, IN passed away August 20, 2022. She was born March 3, 1933, to the late Iva and Martin Roby Gentry. Martha graduated from Deaconess Nursing school and worked several years as a registered nurse. Martha and Herman owned Stained Glass Overlay of Southern, IN for several years.
Herman and Martha were high school sweethearts and graduated from Rockport High School in 1951. They married in 1956 and enjoyed traveling together. They both were members of Zoar United Church of Christ where they played the piano and organ for many years.
Herman and Martha were preceded in death by their parents, and son, Rex Gentry Denstorff.
They are survived by their sons, Dan and Doug Denstorff of Elberfeld, daughter in law, Linda Denstorff of Evansville, granddaughters, Hallie (Ryan) Scheu of Evansville, and Jenna (Craig) Kunkler of Evansville, 6 great grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Lucy, Andrew, Makinley, Brooklyn, and Herman's brother, Jerry (Joan) Denstorff of Sebring, FL.
A private service was held at Susott cemetery, Elberfeld, In.

Martha and Herman were a great couple they loved each other until the very end. They adore their granddaughters Allie and Jena and daughter-in-law Linda. They will not be forgotten, praying for family and friends

Martha in Hermon were a lovely couple and it was a pleasure to have crossed paths with them. They loved their daughter-in-law Linda and adored their granddaughters Hallie and Jenna as well as their families. May they rest in peace and the family find peace with the grand memories of both of them.
