Lyman, SC
Hilda Lucille Wilson Hix, 99, passed away on Thursday, Febuary 20, 2025. Born in Central, SC, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Christine Gillespie Wilson and the wife of the late Seaborn S. Hix, Jr. for 54 years. She was a member of Lyman First Baptist Church.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Jerry Hix, II, Brandon Hix, Wesley Hix and Jordan Hix; two daughter-in-laws, Darlene Hix and Cindy Burns; ten great-grandchildren, Drew Hix, Landon Hix, Caroline Hix, Kayleigh Hix, Hudson Hix, Everly Hix, Chloe Hix, Vi Hix, Charlie Hix and Henry Hix; and a great-great granddaughter, Morgan Hix. She was predeceased by two sons, Gary Phil Hix and Jerry Wilson Hix; four brothers, Garrison Wilson, John Wilson, Jim Wilson and Donald Wilson; and a sister, Mary Craig.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Lyman First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Morris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Wood Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Lyman First Baptist Church 80 Groce Road Lyman SC 29365.
