Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Midland Heights Church. The 5:30 pm service will be conducted by Pastor Dan Williams.
Hillary Joyce Guenard Larey was called to Heaven by our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Mercy Hospital after an extended illness. Hillary was born on August 28th, 1984 in Bastrop, Louisiana and joined the Heavenly Angels, April 9, 2025 after a devastating illness. Hillary is now in Heaven, holding her sweet Elijah and singing before God and all of Heaven! Hillary's voice was like an angel while on Earth and will be glorious in Heaven.
Hillary is survived by her husband, Jeff Larey of Fort Smith, Arkansas; their son, Tye Larey; her daughter and son, Emery Perkins and Jackson Perkins of Lake Providence, Louisiana; and her stepchildren, Zakary Larey of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Cadence Morrison of Newport, Arkansas; Lucas Larey; and Jeffey Larey Jr of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Hillary was preceded in death by their infant son, Elijah Larey; and her paternal grandparents Opp and Betty Guenard.
Hillary is also survived by her mother Cyndie Rushing York and her husband, Rick; father, Newton Hill Guenard and his wife, Denise; in-laws, Sonny Larey and his wife, Malinda; her brother, James Rushing Guenard and his wife Amanda, and their children, Kepler and Ana; her sister in-law, Christy Humphrey and her husband, John; her maternal grandparents, James Ed Rushing and Charlotte Rushing; her uncle, Opp Guenard Jr. and wife Karen; and her aunt, Linda Lyell and husband Tripp along with a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Hillary was a stay at home Mom that spent her time loving and caring for so many people. Jeff, Tye, Emery, Jackson, and her mom, Cyndie and numerous others were the people that she thought of and prayed for 24/7 and they will never be able to replace her in their hearts. Hillary was blessed with the most beautiful voice, whatever she sang could make you cry as it was straight from her heart. She sang at the Retirement Home while her grandfather, Opp was alive and was always asked to sing anywhere she went. Hillary donated her time to the Fort Smith Food Bank and Saturday Meal program at Midland Heights Church. She was an amazing cook and made her Caramel Pie for her loved ones.
