Hiram V. Felts, age 85, of Jellico, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at his home.
Born in Corbin, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Faxton Felts and Delia Lanham Felts. Hiram had retired from General Motors, and he was Pentecostal by Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Bryant Felts in December of 2024; brothers, Vincent "Jim", Jack, Troy, Coy, and Shirley Felts; sisters, Loretta, Zoretta, and Naomi Felts; infant sons, Larry and Gary Felts; and by his step-children, Sharon Lawson, Lisa Setser, Alfred Bryant, and Jerry Bryant.
Hiram is survived by his children, Carol Parson (Donnie), G B Bryant (April), Greg Bryant, Vicki Mitchell and her late husband David, and Samuel Bryant (Melody); 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; brother, Lonnie Felts; and by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends, including special nephew, Jimmy Allen Felts.
Visitation for Hiram Felts will be held from 6 pm to 7 pm on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 7 pm, with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating.
Private burial will be in Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
