Hope M. Nussbaum

Hope M. Nussbaum, age 68, of Wooster, entered into rest on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at her residence following a long battle with cancer. Her beloved family was by her side.
She was born in Wooster to Delbert and Carolyn (Griffin) Winkler and had been a Wayne County resident for all of her life.
Hope married Jeffrey D. Nussbaum in Smithville, on November 14, 1976. He survives.
She retired from Rubbermaid in Wooster where she worked in the Plastics Department. Additionally, she had worked in various other occupations and especially enjoyed her time at Schafer's Tropical Fish & Pets.
Hope prided herself on being a wife, mother, and grandmother, and was actively involved in her kid's and grandkid's activities. In her earlier years, she had previously coached her children's soccer teams, assisted with scouting and school activities, and had attended the Apostolic Christian Church of Rittman.
Hope found beauty and delight in the little things – flowers, animals, and a beautiful day.
In addition to her beloved husband, Jeffrey, she is survived by her children, Chad Nussbaum (Amanda Miller) and Jason (Sarita) Nussbaum, all of West Salem, Ohio, Roxann Matter of Wooster, Ohio and Kyle D. Nussbaum (Jen) of Polk, Ohio; Grandchildren, Desiree, Jozie, Skylir, Addy, Sabastian "CC" Nussbaum, Bub, Jason Markley and Carter Maxwell, Arayah Nussbaum, Tyler, Corbin, Skylar and Aliya.; brothers, Jerry (Anita) Winkler of Wooster, Ohio and Ryan Winkler of Smithville, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ava Rose Nussbaum.
Services will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 6:00 pm at Custer-Glenn Funeral home in Wooster with Brother Arthur Ingold officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior (5:00 pm - 6:00 pm) to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
