Howard Coleman Forrister, 62, Piedmont, AL, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025. The Alabama Native was one of 13 children born to Arthur and Sarah Alice Williams Forrister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons: Jake C. Forrister and Allen Blake Forrister; grandchild: Amelia Marie Forrister; siblings: Edward, Arthur, Jr., Floyd, Franklin, Sarah Langley Studdard, Caron Owen, and Ellen Forrister.
He is survived by his son: Matthew Forrister; daughters: Zonna (Michael) Green and Whitney Forrister; grandchildren: Joshua, Jalyn, Cameron , Averie, and Ariar Forrister; and sisters: Judy Barnes, Linda Motes, Rachel Medley, Teresa Timms, and Missy Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from Goshen Valley Baptist Church with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Rev. Michael Green and Johnny Medley will officiate. Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Howard's memory to Goshen Valley Baptist Church.
