Della “Louise” Boatner of Piedmont, AL passed away on March 9th 2026 surrounded by her family at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden Alabama.
Visitation will be March 12th at Dansby Heritage Chapel of Piedmont from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. with services to follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery. Officiating the service will be, Rev. Sherry Donaldson and Rev. Tim Smith.
Louise was a lifelong resident of Piedmont. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Sheila McBride-Peek (Larry), Stacye Floyd (Shane), Kerry Boatner (Jennifer), and Gage Boatner, grandchildren Josh McBide (Morgan), Miranda Holcomb (Adam), Hayden Floyd, Ava Boatner, Emma Boatner, great grandchildren Rylan Smith, Jaxin Holcomb, Annaleigh McBride. And sisters Carol Cobb, Jewel Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Lucille Lockridge, and 9 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be: Larry Peak, Shane Floyd, Josh McBride, Kerry Boatner, Adam Holcomb, and Gage Boatner
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Boatner family.
