Howard "Howie" Weissman, 81, passed away on August 23, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of Marilyn (née Storck) for just shy of 50 wonderful years; loving father of Scott (Charlotte) Weissman and Jori (Anthony) Weissman-Litterio; cherished "Papa" of Joah and Shayna Weissman; much loved brother of the late Merle (Robert) Bauer. Adored uncle and friend of many. Howard was known for his amazing sense of humor and quick wit. He had a beautiful singing voice and a passion for theater, gadgets, and technology. A recreational pilot and talented photographer in his younger days, he was truly ahead of his time when it came to innovation. Howard was a proud collector of sports memorabilia and dedicated 25 years of his career to AccuQuote, remaining active in the insurance industry until his passing. Above all, Howard had a huge heart. He would do anything for his family, and his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren-especially enjoying movies together with full surround sound. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Howard was a prostate cancer survivor so please send memorial donations in his honor to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate. Chapel service, Tuesday, August 26, 2025; 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
