Hugh Leslie Hyde, 82 of Fayetteville, AR passed Monday, August 18, 2025 in Fayetteville. He was born April 9,1943 in Paragould, AR to Eric Grant Hyde and Vaudean (Rogers) Hyde. He graduated from Arkansas State University in 1963 with a degree in accounting and began a 29 year career with KPMG. After retirement he became a bank president for 2 years then began a 10 year career in investment banking. While in Houston he was the President of the Easter Seals in Harris County as well as the State of Texas. After relocating to Fayetteville he became a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Angela Wadley Hyde, one son, Christopher Hyde of Roselle, NJ, one daughter, Cindy Hyde Barson and husband Michael of Fayetteville, AR, two brothers, Stephen Hyde of Frederick, MD, Randy Hyde of Little Rock, AR, and two grandsons, Matthew and Benjamin Barson of Fayetteville, AR. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Patricia Wadley Thomas of Paragould, AR, Anita Wadley Evans of Santa Ana, CA, Kay Wadley Martinez of Springdale, AR, Marilyn Wadley Misenheimer of Fayetteville, AR, Jean Robbins Hyde of Frederick, MD, and Janet Crawley Hyde of Little Rock, AR. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM on Friday August 22,2025 at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
