Hugh A. Price, 81, of Titusville, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Hugh was born on June 29, 1944, in Titusville, a son of the late Floyd E. and Doris Sopher Price. He married Carol Davison Price on July 23, 1966, in Pleasantville. They were happily married for 59 years.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1962. After school Hugh was employed at Cytemp Specialty Steel Company, working in the cold mill for many years before his retirement.
Hugh loved the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed feeding all the animals around his home. He had a knack for old cars, his 1983 Chevy Camaro was his favorite and couldn't wait for it to become registered as an antique car. Above all Hugh loved to be surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially at family cookouts.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol Price of Titusville; his two sons, Stephen Price and husband Robert Mertz of Columbia, SC, Richard Price and wife Alicia of Pleasantville; his daughter in law, Diane Price of Titusville; his grandchildren, Amanda Price and fiancé Adam Sturgis of Waterford, PA, Zachary Price and fiancé Jessica Lester of Warren, PA, Jacob Price and companion Marlee Johnson of Meadville, Taylor Machen of Centerville, Stephen Machen and wife Paige of Pleasantville, Danielle Lewis and husband Curtis of Tidioute, Logan Price and companion Sydnee Rhodes of Pleasantville; his 19 great-grandchildren; and his beloved cats.
In addition to his parents, Hugh was preceded in death by his son, Michael Price, his grandson, Cody Price, and his brother, Ronald Price.

Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM, a funeral service will follow with Pastor Glen Van Cise, officiating.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
Memorial contributions can be made out to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, PA 16335, in Hugh's memory.
