Hughie (Hugh) Franklin Sadberry, a beloved husband, father, and devout Christian, passed away peacefully on February 28th, at the age of 88 in Edgewood, New Mexico. Born on August 19th, 1936, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Sam and Faye Sadberry, Hugh was the second of seven siblings: Sam Jr, Hugh, Jack, David, Duane (Robert), Janeann and Linda Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Faye, and his siblings, Sam Jr, Jack, David, Duane and Janeann. He is survived by his three sons Allen, Craig and Dennis, his 4 grandchildren Dustin, Nina, Carolyn and Aaron, and 9 great grandchildren. Hugh was a devoted husband to Carole and a loving father to his sons. His faith was central to his life; he loved his church family at Valley Church of Christ. Hugh found joy in golf, traveling and treasured every moment spent with his family. His warmth, kindness and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There will be a memorial service at Moriarty Church of Christ in Moriarty, NM on Saturday, March 15th at 10:00am
