Hunter Lane Massingill

Hunter Lane Massingill, 29, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on July 15, 2023. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on July 1, 1994 to Johnny Massingill and Diana McCoy.
Hunter was a devout Christian. His love for God was apparent whenever anyone talked to him. He prided himself with helping others, always putting others needs before his own. He was tenderness and strength with a wild streak. He loved his family and friends so intensely and dreamed just as hard. He has always been known as a hard worker, which has helped him be a successful rancher, oil rig worker and free lance welder as well as a business owner.
Hunter had a great love of the water, with a passion for fishing, boating, and diving. He also loved anything "cowboy" including hunting, ranching and rodeos. He was known to be quite the outdoorsman who was an over achiever when it came to his fishing and hunting abilities. He was always at "home" doing anything in the great outdoors. He was a man born 100 plus years too late. He would have thrived in the great American frontier.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clifford Massingill; aunt, Tammy Massingill; and uncle, Scott Forrester.
He is survived by his father, Johnny (Lynn) Massingill and mother, Diana McCoy; loves of his life, Katie Epps, Caden, Liam, and soon to be born son, Bridger Lane Massingill; sisters, Shaylyn (Steven) Clark, Jordan (Will) Massingill; brothers, Jonathon (Brooke) Massingill,Tucker (Shelby) Massingill; paternal grandparents, Tom (Mary) Mullins; maternial grandparents, David (Evelyn)McCoy and Ray (Katherine) Weiss; maternal grandmother, Sherion McCoy. Nephews, Caleb, Maston, Cayce, and Wiley; nieces, Addy, Mylynn, Celti, and Quigley; many aunts, uncles and cousins that were all extremely important to him throughout his life.
