Ima Jean Sweazea was born June 15, 1936 to Emmitt and Eula (Doyle) Bench. She passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89.
Ima Jean worked as a produce manager with Safeway before her retirement. She was an avid OKC Thunder fan and also cheered on the Dallas Cowboys and OU. She loved George Strait and enjoyed playing bingo at the retirement center, working jigsaw puzzles and reading. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Sweazea and two brothers, Jerry Lee Bench and Bennie Eli Bench.
She is survived by her children, Keith Walker of Okemah, Lori Parish and husband Larry of Okemah and Diane White and husband Willard of Okemah; three brothers, Olen Emmitt Bench of Pampa, Texas, Johnnie Joe Bench and wife Carolyn of Calvin, Oklahoma and James "Tot" Bench and Jan of Canadian, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home and officiated by Kurt Titsworth.
