Funeral services for Cuba Ann Odom will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Okemah, Oklahoma.
Cuba Ann Odom was born February 28, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Roy Covington and Addie (Hull) Covington. She passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Okemah, Oklahoma at the age of 87.
Cuba has been an Okemah resident for several years. She met her husband, Carl Walter Odom, and the two were married in 1956. To this union 5 children were born, 4 sons, and one daughter. She owned and operated a beauty shop for several years. She loved playing games on her tablet, especially sudoku, and when she had her coffee, which she loved, she enjoyed it with a cigarette, she also loved going to the casino, visiting with her family and friends, she also loved to color. She especially loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Walter Odom, her daughter, Tiffany Wingate, grandson Jeremy Bethel, sister, Pat Miller, brother Leroy Covington, and brother-in-law, Jim Keller.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Anthony Odom of Seminole, Oklahoma, Russell Bruce and Cathy Odom of Wichita Falls, Texas, Timothy Leroy and Sally Odom of Elm City, North Carolina, and Gregory and Rachael Odom of Mount Airy, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Keller, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Stephen Odom, Jacob Odom, Blake Odom, Jesse Wingate, Seth Dean, and Chance Dean.
Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Odom, Taylor Odom, and Jonathon Odom.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Jack Fick and Terry Coleman.
