Imad Madi, 75, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon, to Ali and Rafica Madi.
Imad graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and was a supervisor at the Broward County, Florida Department of Health for 32 years. He came to the United States in 1970 and met his wife, Sue Hunn Madi, in 1972. They spent many wonderful years together. Imad was someone who was set in his ways, he loved to hunt and fish, maintain his various cars, trucks and RV’s, among other things and loved his family very much including his miniature schnauzer Zain and cat Sidney. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Imadeddine is survived by his wife, Sue Madi; daughter, Zaynah Madi (Christopher White); grandchildren, Samyrah and Jaxon White; sisters, Samar Madi Hamadeh and Hala Madi Shalhoub. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rana and brother Alaaddine.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
