Inez was born January 13, 1927, in
Fort Pierce, Florida to Chester and Susie Hawkins Bryant. Inez received her basic education from the public schools in St. Lucie County. She was a member of the Lincoln Park Academy Class of 1944.
Inez moved to Miami, Florida as a young adult and trained to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. She later furthered her training and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Inez's spiritual journey started at a very young age at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in
Fort Pierce, Florida. Inez later changed her
membership to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida under the leadership of Reverend Samuel Atchison.
After 37 years of living in Miami, Inez returned to Fort Pierce to care for her ailing mother. She then changed her church membership to Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Spencer Kilpatrick and Elder Charles Hendley where she was actively involved.
She was a past president of the Matron Society, secretary of the Prayer Band of Greater Mount Pleasant, and member of the Community Prayer Band. Inez attended church and served faithfully until her health began to fail

Inez was predeceased by her parents: Chester and Susie Bryant; her sons: Harold Bernard Ferguson, Van Eugene Ferguson, and Charles Kenneth Ferguson; her daughter: Gayle James-Floyd; her grandson: Taurus Bernard Jones; and son-in-law:Melvin Lee Buckles. Inez was well-loved and will forever be in the hearts of her son: Chester Webb, Sr. of Miami, Florida; her daughters: Jacque' Jones (Marcellus) Brown of
Fort Pierce, Florida, and Cheryl Ferguson of
Fort Pierce, Florida. Her grandsons: Leslie Webb, Tony Sims, and Chester (Crystal) Webb, Jr. of Georgia; Vernon Jones of Pembroke Pines, Florida; Jimmy Cunningham of West Palm Beach, Florida; Van Bacon of Palm Bay, Florida; Charles Quickley of
Fort Pierce, Florida; Dravion Ferguson of Orlando, Florida; Marquis (Trenisa) Brown of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and Marqus Brown of West Palm Beach, Florida. Her granddaughters: Yolanda Cunningham of
Fort Pierce, Florida; Tina Harper of Texas; Dedria (Calvin) Webb and VaShon (Quan) Ferguson of Georgia; Ebony Rowe and Krystal (Duane) Ambrister of
Fort Pierce, Florida; Kenya Turner of Gainesville, FL. Her thirty-two (32) great-grandchildren; fourteen (14) great-great- grandchildren; cousins and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. Others who Inez loved dearly: Like a sister: Mary Lue Lee; Like a son: Marcellus Brown; Like a daughter: Beulah Lyles; Her "birthday twin": Earl Little; her special cousin: Christine (Billy) Davis; and her Goddaughter: Cassandra Gilbert.
