Inez Burrell Crook, age 94, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. With a heart full of kindness, love, and faith, she lived her 94 years as a shining example of Christ's light. A devoted wife and true partner in ministry, she stood faithfully by her husband's side, sharing a lifetime of service and love. She was a wonderful mother whose devotion knew no limits, and she found her greatest joy in the bond she shared with her beloved grandchildren. To know her was to be welcomed, for she never met a stranger and gave love freely to all. Her life was a beautiful journey of faith, family, and compassion. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the blessing of her presence, her example, and her unwavering love. Forever loved, forever cherished, and forever remembered. Mrs. Crook was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, Rev. Clyde Crook; daughter, Wanda Crook Martin; granddaughter, Leah McCammon; parents, Carl and Mamie Burrell; five brothers; and three sisters. Mrs. Crook is survived by daughter, Judy (Richard) Burke of Buford; grandchildren, Shelly McCammon of Buford, Carrie and Adam McCall of Buford, Matthew and Leah Varnell of Mooresville, NC, Kristy and Gary Bishop of Acworth, GA, Kelly Lee of Smyrna, GA; great grandchildren, Bailey McCammon, Thomas McCall, Kylie McCammon, Trey McCall, Wyles McCammon, Eli Varnell, Taytum McCall, Luke Varnell, Olivia Bishop, Jake Bishop, Brody Bishop; great great grandchild, Mason Bishop; and numerous nephews and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Dale officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday, October 3 from 1:30 p.m. until time for the service.
