Ione M. Anderson was born on March 6, 1937 to Henry and Margaret Anderson in Crary, North Dakota. She was raised and graduated high school in Portland, North Dakota. She attended Mayville State University. Ione married Lee E. Holweger on April 2, 1957 in Portland. She was employed as a CNA and personal caregiver for her mother-in-law (Selma), husband (Lee), and parents (Henry and Margaret).
Ione was preceded in death by husband, Lee; mother-in-law, Selma; father-in-law, Edward; parents, Henry and Margaret; brother, Harold Anderson; son and son-in-law, Mark and Greg.
Survivors include her children: Marcia Holweger of Fort Worth, TX, Kim (Dan) Osowski of Emerado, ND, Keith Holweger of Wahpeton, ND, Debra Holweger of Minot, ND, and Jill (Jeff) Snider of Columbus, OH; along with 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Karen Anderson.
