Ira Left Hand Jr. "Junior" was born on January 26, 1975, in Sheridan, WY., to Ira Left Hand Sr. and Juanita Rose Solis. His Indian name was Awe Ukkash Iikaash "Sees Many Lands," given to him by Rose Marie Black Hawk. Ira spent his younger years living in the heart of Lodge Grass, a place he always held close to his heart. In Ira's later years, he relocated to the Left Hand homestead located in Spear Siding.
Ira attended school in Lodge Grass, the place that always felt like home. Later on, he returned to work there as a security guard. Over the years, he held different security jobs, but his heart always belonged to the school district in good ol' Lodge Grass.
Ira was always known for treating his guests like five-star visitors. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and right at home. Hospitality came naturally to him- he always woke up early to cook his "famous" bacon and eggs, complete with all the fixings.
He always made sure no one left with an empty stomach. That was his way of showing love-through food, kindness, and care. Ira had a passion for collecting DVDs - his collection was nothing short of phenomenal. He also loved gaming in his spare time. Whether it was music, gaming or finding new ways to stay busy, Ira always knew how to keep himself entertained. He even made playlists for every occasion, each one perfectly arranged to match the moment.
His eldest son Djay, was the one who first welcomed him into parenthood with open arms.
Ira later met the love of his life Nancy Lilly Half. From that marriage he was blessed with two children Andrew "Rooster" and Danni Rose. After their divorce, Ira was blessed with three more wonderful children Jayden, Brooklyn and John.
