Sending my deepest condolences to Mr. Jolly's family. God has called another one of his angels home, Ira was faithful in his walk with God and knowing Ira he's playing the piano and directed the choir and I was a co-worker of Ira one of the kind, caring person you ever wanted to meet. My heart is heavy.I will continue to pray for his children and grandchildren.

What a loss . Ira was a talented musician, firefighter, parent and friend. Many firefighters in Florida and western states remember what a steady, supportive, skilled person he was as a leader. Ira started his career as a ranger with the Florida Division of Forestry and worked his way through the ranks to the top position as Chief of Fire Control for the state. Ira was a much loved professional firefighter and leader and will be truly missed. GOD bless you and your family.

First knew Ira when Crestview High was integrated back in 66-67. Was a good friend, had some classes or a class together and sat behind him I think. Always smiling and truly Jolly. His mother taught my baby brother. His kind spirit lives on.

I had the privilege of working with IRA with the Okaloosa Supervisor of Elections. He was a wonderful gentleman, soft spoken and gentle trainer, but one who spoke with knowledge. I am grateful to have known IRA, blessed to have worked with him, and thankful to have him as a friend. Hopefully we will rejoice again someday, sooner than later.
