Beloved daughter, sister and mother, Irene Teresa Ramirez went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 25, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 75. She was born on July 27, 1950 in Karnes City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Cecilia Martinez, and sister JoAnn Bates. She is survived by her daughters Jeanette Chamberlain (Joseph Chamberlain) and Elizabeth Cardenas (Dan Cardenas), brother Manuel Martinez, Jr. and nieces, Joslyn Martinez and Erika Rios (Martin Rios). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; Justine, Jeremy, Jessie, and Jade Chamberlain; Marissa and Annabel Flores; Megan Leal, Parish and Noah Cardenas; great-grandchildren Joseph Chamberlain, Emma, Finn, and Stevie Leal, and Juliette Cardenas; and many other family members and friends. She worked for Fox Photo Inc. and Baldwin Prolab before retiring from the medical records department at University Hospital Brady Green to care full time for her Mother. During her later retirement she enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with friends at the Elvira Cisneros Senior Activity Center. Time shared with her daughters and grandchildren was her most cherished time. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
