Irene Dashae Roy was born on September 29th, 1969 in Niagara Falls, New York to Stanley Roy and Ira Lee Roy. She departed this life on October 14th, 2025.
Irene was an army brat who had a love of reading, photography, and collecting new pens. She graduated from Hale Center High School and West Texas A&M University. She also earned two Master's degrees. Irene was a devoted public servant, working as a teacher for more than thirty years. She worked on several campuses throughout Killeen Independent School District (KISD), including Pershing Park Elementary School, Audie Murphy Middle School, and Manor Middle School. Prior to working in the KISD district, she was a teacher at Akin Elementary School in Hale Center, Texas.
Irene is preceded in death by Ira Lee Roy. She leaves behind many family members and friends.
