With sadness, we share the passing of Irving J. LaDucer, who departed this life on October 1, surrounded by family. He was 87 years old and known for his sense of humor and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone.

He loved talking about sports, particularly his devotion to the Jets, Mets, and Knicks. However, without a doubt, his favorite topic was always his family.

Irv lived a life marked by unwavering love and deep devotion to his loved ones. He is survived by his daughters, Sheri Litchfield (Jerry) and Rebecca Potter (Bruce), his grandchildren, Jeremy (Briana), Jenna, Emily, Jaxen and Landon and great grandchildren, Aliliana, Jeremy and MaKenna. He was also loved by Nikki, Jade and Kendra.

We take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with the love of his life, Trudy, along with the many beloved pets who brought him joy, companionship, and unconditional love throughout his life.

The family will hold a private graveside service. Donations in his memory can be made to Strength In Numbers: care of Arrow Bank 250 Glen Street Glens Falls, NY 12801. Strength in Numbers is a charitable 503c organization in honor of Rebecca's brother-in-law, Paul Snyder. All funds collected are given to support local children and families suffering a loss or recovering from a devastating situation.

"He may be gone from our sight, but he'll live forever in our stories and our hearts."
