Isaac N'namdi Turner was born on March 23, 1978 to James Edward Turner (Andrea Gail Turner) and Khadijah Lanai Ashé (Kujenga Eliyah Ashé). He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend whose presence touched many lives. He is survived by his Siblings: James Chapman, Pamela Moore, and Shawana Turner. He is preceded in death by his brothers; Nathaniel "Hasaan" Turner, Nigel Turner, and Lamont Turner, and his grandparents; James Turner Sr., Mary Jenkins, Edward Chapman Sr, and Ozella Chapman. He leaves a legacy through his Children: William Evans, Cheyenne Coates, Eveyana Rondon of Lorain, Ohio, Imani Turner, Ianna Turner, Synai Robinson, Payton Turner of Houston, TX, and Isaiah Turner; Grandchildren: Esias, Valentina, Aveon, and Willow. He has a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Isaac attended Walnut Ridge High School where he was a track athlete. After high school he joined the Job Corps in Dayton, Ohio. Isaac was a barber with a steady clientele. He also spent time contributing to the creative environment of CINNAMON CITY music production studio alongside producer James "Jayloveli" Chapman. IKE WARNER was Isaac's entrepreneurial business where he provided cable installation, water maintenance, and handyman services.
A gifted and versatile master craftsman, Isaac was proficient in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and home remodeling. His professional journey includes working with WALKER & SONS in Columbus, Ohio, serving as an HVAC assistant with NEIGHBORHOOD COMFORT SYSTEMS under owner Lionel Moore. Isaac partnered with BLINKY NASH in Las Vegas, NV on interior remodeling and painting projects, he worked in landscaping and lawn care maintenance with his cousins at B&B TOTAL LAWN CARE under owner John Bowie Jr., and contributed to operations at J. E. TURNER TRUCKING LLC, a national trucking company supporting military assignments alongside his father.
At the time of his passing, Isaac was moving forward with renewed purpose. He had been hired for a new job and was actively addressing his responsibities. He also had plans to get his CDL to step into and expand his father's trucking company.
His favorite things were fishing, barbequing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He held a special bond with his youngest son, Isaiah, whom he was grooming for greatness. He found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments like enjoying sunsets that he called "The Magic Hour," being at the beach, and planning a return to Las Vegas. Isaac's legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren and all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be remembered for his humor, strength, resilience, craftsmanship, and love he shared with those closest to him.
