Ivan Clarence Heard

Funeral services for Ivan Clarence Heard will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Burnett Mission Church of Paden, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery in Paden.
Ivan Clarence Heard was born February 12, 1931 north of Paden, Oklahoma to Willis Paul Heard and Osa Clara (Davis) Heard. He passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his home north of Paden at the age of 91.
Mr. Heard was a lifelong resident of the Paden area. He and Seleta Lagrace Collins were married June 14, 1949 north of Paden. Mr. Heard retired from the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services and enjoyed farming, working cattle, hunting and singing. He was also a faithful deacon with the Burnett Mission Church of Paden.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Deborah Ann Heard; one sister, Fern Crosby and one brother, Paul Heard.
He is survived by his wife, Seleta Lagrace Heard of the home; two sons, Ray Heard and wife Linnie of Kellyville and Dale Heard of Paden; two daughters, Carol Heard of the home and Rhonda Bartos and husband Tony of Paden; 7 grandchildren, Calvin Heard, Reba King, Trina Brown, Lynn Williams, Justine Curry, Leslie Martin and Nick Bartos; 12 great-grandchildren, Michelle, Tiffany, Weston, Rylee, Aiden, Colton, Morgan, Kade, Haylee, Cayenne, Shanna and Cheryl and 8 great-great-grandchildren, Cameron, Raelissa, Taylor, Miranda, Wyatt, Jessie, Clayton and Liam.
Serving as pallbearers will be Calvin Heard, Dale King, Michael Brown, Nathan Williams, Jason Curry, Daniel Martin and Nick Bartos.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Rev. Terry Garner and assisted by Colton Williams.
