Mrs. Ivon Fagan was born September 10th, 1943, to Nancy Baker Smith and Jonah Oscar Clemmons Sr in Williamston, Nc. Ivon received her formal education thought the Williamston Public School System where she excelled in her studies.
Sister Fagan accepted Christ as her savor with Cornerstone Baptist Church of Williamston throughout her childhood where she served as a faithful member before moving to Stamford, Connecticut. Once settled in Stamford she became a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
Ivon was employed at the Darien Post Office, where she served dutifully for 40 years before retiring in 2008. In her leisure she enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching childrens church, testifying before God and reading. Sister Ivon enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
Ivon Fagan affectionately known as Bonnie transitioned to be with the lord February 5th, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Left to cherish Ivons legacy is her loving husband Joseph "Joey" Fagan, daughter Tanya Fagan, grandchildren Nikayla Fagan, Destiny Perkins, Avery Perkins, Alexis Farrow and Great Grandchildren Raelynn Davis and Logan Mendenhall. She was predeceased by her mother Nancy Baker Smith, father Jonah Oscar Clemmons Sr, daughter Nicole "Nikki" Fagan, sisters Emmalean Williams, Gracie C. Taylor, Lucille Timmons, brothers James Whit Clemmons and Jonah Oscar Clemmons Jr. Ivon also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
