Jack M. Combs, 64, of LaGrange, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare in Elkhart, IN.

He was born on October 5, 1960, in LaGrange, IN, to Stanley Leon and Beverly J. (Hall) Combs.

Jack was a lifelong resident of LaGrange County and spent much of his working career as a ticket attendant on the Indiana Toll Road. Later, he was employed as a clerk with Meijer in Sturgis, MI. Jack will be remembered for his cheerful spirit, his sense of humor, and the kindness he extended to everyone he met. Whether greeting family, friends, or strangers, he always had a positive word or a smile to share.

He enjoyed life's simple pleasures-singing, dancing, taking walks, and riding his bicycle. Vacations with family and friends were among his favorite times, creating memories that will be cherished by those who loved him. In his younger years, Jack was active in LaGrange County 4-H, where he proudly showed ponies.

Surviving are his mother, Beverly Combs of LaGrange, IN; his son, Brandon (Holly Suwarsky) Combs of Elkhart, IN; two grandsons, Garec and Kaden Combs of Elkhart, IN; and his sister, Pamela (Myron) Miller of White Pigeon, MI.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Combs, and two sisters, Judy M. Combs and Julie D. Combs.

According to the family's wishes Jack will be cremated. A celebration of life will take place at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Ontario Cemetery in rural Howe, IN.
