Steven Ray Cline, known affectionately as Steve to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, in Ozark, Missouri, at the age of 66. Born on November 16, 1958, in Branson, Missouri, Steve was a man of intelligence and love, whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.

Steve is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Cline, with whom he shared a life full of cherished moments. He was a proud father to his son, Joseph Leon Cline, and his daughter, Jessica Lyn Cline. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Raven, Blaize, Ethan, Rylee, Maci, Lukas, and Aurora, as well as his great-grandchildren, Conner, Cameron, and Amelia, who will miss their "Grandpa Steve" dearly. Steve was the son of Norene Cline and the late Johnnie Cline. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Cline, and sister, Johnna Cline. His surviving siblings, Vicki Chastain and Brandy Bates, along with his brother, Doy Cline, will hold his memory close to their hearts.

Steve served his country with honor as a veteran of the United States Army, a period of his life that instilled in him a sense of discipline and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life. His work ethic and dedication were evident to all who knew him, and his contributions to his community were significant and lasting.

An avid reader and computer game enthusiast, Steve found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was also a passionate football fan, and his enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Whether discussing the latest novel he'd read or cheering on his favorite team, Steve's intelligence and love for life shone brightly.

Steve's life was a testament to the values he held dear-family, service, and enjoyment of life's passions. His warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steve Cline's story is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the enduring impact he has left on his family and friends. His spirit will live on in the memories we cherish and the love he gave so freely.
