Daniel Ramon Rocha, 68, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Humansville, Missouri after a brief illness. Daniel was born on January 8, 1957, in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was the beloved husband of the late Deborah Rocha and the cherished son of Hayden and Geraldine Brown, as well as Marvin Rocha. He remained good friends with his first wife of 32 years, Dana Rocha and his legacy continues through his children: his son and daughter-in-law Phil and Erica Rocha and his daughter Julie Cook. He is also remembered with love by his sister and brother-in-law Cheryle and Dale Rash and his brother Vince Rocha.
Daniel was a proud grandfather to Haleigh Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Ella Rocha, Bee Cook, Meg Perryman, Raven Cook, Selah Cook and his new great-grandson Skyler Tanno. He loved to bring his grand-daughter's donuts and small animal figurines. His presence brought joy to family gatherings and his sense of humor left lasting impressions on all who knew him. He also leaves behind his beloved Great Pyrenees companion, Lucy Grace.
Daniel lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and deep connections with those around him. Daniel graduated Fair Play High School in 1975. He went on to receive a bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning from Missouri State University and worked at North Central Texas Council of Governments for 14 years. Daniel received a Masters of Divinity at Texas Christian University in 2007 and was ordained as a minister. After moving to Bolivar and being confirmed into the Episcopal Church, Daniel was a devout member of St. Albans known for his periodic preaching until his death.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Daniel will remember him as someone who could light up a room with laughter. His humor was a defining trait-one that endeared him to friends and family alike and made every moment spent with him memorable.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him. A memorial service honoring Daniel's life followed by inurnment will be held on November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Albans Episcopal Church 201 S Killingsworth Ave. Bolivar, MO 65613.
