He was born in Katy, TX to James Goolsby and Annie Finch. He grew up in Waller, TX then came to California at the age of 18. He loved football and spent time coaching his sons and later his grandchildren- he loved watching them play. Jack also enjoyed the outdoors and spending his free time fishing and hunting. He retired from the County of Sonoma.
He is survived by wife of 60 years; Susana, his children Debbie, Stacey, Jack, and Jonathan; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack was always there for everyone- never turned his back on anyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Daniels Chapel of the Roses.
