Jack was born Wednesday, October 27, 1937, in Clear Creek, a son of the late Albert Jarrett and Mary Reed Jarrett. Jack was married to Shirley Brumfield Jarrett who survives.
Left to cherish Jack's memory are three daughters, Vickie Boggs, Cathy Swecker, and Lisa Dennis and their families which include five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends that he held neat to his heart.
Jack was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, and one great grandchild.
Jack attended the schools of Raleigh County and was a truck driver for J.P. Hamer Lumber Company. He was a member of the First Church of Christ.
Jack's request for cremation was honored.
