Mr. Jack Henry Michael, Jr., 81 of Hazel, KY, formerly of Hinckley, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, KY.

Born July 2, 1944, in Shreveport, LA, Jack was the son of the late Jack Henry Michael, Sr. and Maryon (Pahaly) Michael. He honorably served his country in the US Army as a Drill Sergeant and continued to show his patriotism as a member of the American Legion Post 598, formerly serving as Post Commander. Jack spent his career as a sales representative for Exmark Mowers and Olsen Distribution and was a member of the Hinckley Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish Jack's memory are his wife of 54 years, Barbara R. (Olsen) Michael of Hazel; a daughter, Jacquelyn Renee "Jacki" Seaney (Jay Morgan) of Hazel; sons, Thomas O. Michael of Sandwich, IL, and Timothy I. Michael (Becky) of Cortland, IL; a brother, Daniel James Michael (Romie) of Aurora, IL, and a sister, Pamela Ann Fernald of Merrimac, WI. Jack was a proud grandfather of Courtney Michael, Brittany Sabalaskey, Tyler Jablonski, Casandra Seaney, Austin Seaney, and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene A. Michael, Keith Michael and Gregory B. Michael; sisters, Bonnie Williams and Mae Marie Winckler; sister-in-law, Cheri Michael; daughter-in-law, Connie Pfeiffer; son-in-law, Douglas Seaney; and nephew, Jason Fernald.

A graveside service will be held at a later date, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hinckley, IL, no local services will be scheduled.
