Jack Austin Riddle

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the age of 86, Jack Austin Riddle; father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, left his earthly family to join his Heavenly family.
Jack was born on December 18, 1939, to Grace Riddle in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He and his wife of 57 years raised one son and two daughters.
He is preceded in death by mother, stepfather, three brothers, his wife Hazel, son James, and daughter Misti.
He is survived by his daughter Keri, grandchildren; Christopher, Caleb, Cassidy, Chance, Colton, Riley, Blake, Kianna, Jasmine, and Matthew, and 9 great grandchildren. Jack was a man of few words, but he was a "Yes" man, always saying yes and hardly saying no. His famous response to his wife was, "Yes, Dear".
Jack loved watching his grandkids play sports, rarely missing a game or "sneaking" off to the track with his grandson and letting him help pick the winning horse. He was a family man who loved his family, and was a caretaker for his wife, making sure she made it to all of her hair appointments, nail appointments, and doctor appointments. He had multiple nicknames for his grandkids. Like when you were called "Monster, Goofy, Bratt, Dude, or Squirl", you knew who he was talking to.
He loved pulling pranks on the kids when they were playing in the back yard. He would sneak around dressed in a black leather jacket and a scary mask sending the kids screaming which would turn into giggles once they realized it was him.
He worked for Rainbo Baking for over 20 years, until he was injured on the job and forced to retire. Prior to that, no one can recall him missing a day's work. He will be greatly missed. Along with our Sunday dinner and "Farkle" games.
Services for Jack will be rendered by Barnes Friederich & Pope Funeral Home, 1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130. Visitation for Jack will be Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 1:00pm - 8:00pm. A Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, December 29, 2025, and Jack's final place of rest with be at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
