JACK SCHRIEBER
Jack Dale Schrieber, 76, of Versailles, Missouri went to his heavenly home, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home in Versailles, Missouri surrounded by family. Jack was born on April 13, 1948 to Charles and Earlene Schrieber.
After graduation Jack went on to serve in the Marines from 1966-1968 and was stationed in Vietnam. Jack retired after 42 years from Phoenix Transit. In the spring of 2013, Jack met Becky while the two were living in Arizona. The two of them were a perfect match and became inseparable. They enjoyed life and laughed together often. They were married shortly after on September 13, 2013.
Jack has two sons, Stephen Schrieber and wife Christina of Gilbert, Arizona and Gregory Schrieber and wife Stephanie of Delaware, Ohio. In marriage, Jack gained four stepchildren, Gina Tavis and husband John of Queen Creek, Arizona, Jenny Bias and husband Rick of Versailles, Missouri, Justin Faron and wife Rachel of Versailles, Missouri, and Logan Salaki and wife Kelsea of Kansas City, Missouri. Jack had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack was a man of few words. He was a kind and gentle man who loved the Lord and his family with his whole heart. He was a jokester and could make you laugh, most of the time without even trying. To know Jack was to love him.
Jack is survived by his wife, Becky Schrieber of the home; his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sister, Denise Stauffer of Portland, Oregon.
The family will be welcoming friends and family for a celebration of his life to be held at First Assembly of God, Versailles, Missouri on Tuesday, August 27th. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. followed by military honors.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
