Jack D. Vorpahl, 70, of Peshtigo passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at home. He was born on July 10, 1954, to the late John and Lois (Dilges) Vorpahl in Milwaukee. He graduated from Bayview High School in Milwaukee in 1973. In 1974, Jack married Laurie Pagel in Milwaukee. They moved to Peshtigo in 1977 and he had resided here since. On October 1, 1993, Jack married Melody Anderson; she preceded him in death on November 9, 2011. On October 19, 2019, Jack married Kathleen Wills. He worked at Marinette Marine as a material handler and crane operator for 34 years, retiring August 1, 2012. He enjoyed motorcycling with his group "Grandpas of Anarchy", riding around in his Camero Convertible once his body didn't enjoy being on a bike any longer, spending time at home and his fireworks party during Historical Days. He was a member of the Marinette Elks Lodge.
Jack is survived by his wife, Kathleen Wills Vorpahl of Peshtigo; sons: Jeff (Mandy) Vorpahl of Peshtigo, Kevin (S.O. Rainie) Vorpahl of De Pere, Sean (Carrie) Jablonowski of Green Bay, and Joshua (Tiffany) Jablonowski of Peshtigo; grandchildren: Justice, David, Madison, Olivia, Kaiden, Makailah, Trenton, Trinity, and Melody; great granddaughters, Soraia and Liberty; sister, Jill Vorpahl; brother in law, Ken (Sally) Kirt; and sister in law, Betsy (Ed) Smith. In addition to his parents and wife, Melody, he was preceded in death by a brother in law, Donald Kirt and sister in law, Theresa Kurlatz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Marinette Elks Club on Friday, December 6th from 5-9pm.
