Jackie Sharon Bartels

Jackie Bartels of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born September 5, 1943 in Frederick, Oklahoma. She passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed many hobbies with photography being one of her favorites. She was a member of the Oklahoma Camera Club for many years where she earned accolades from all over the world. The biggest joys of her life were her children and grandchildren and she loved listening to their stories and celebrating their successes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry G. Mitchell and Juanita Engquist; step-father, O.G. Engquist; husband, Ernest (Sunny) Bartels; her two sons, James Hahn and Steven Hahn; and step-sister, Judy Tullos.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Stacy Stice and husband, Steve of Norman, Oklahoma and Laura Long and husband, James of Guthrie; grandchildren, Peyton, Sidney, and Baylee Stice and Carson and Addison Long; brother, Harry Mitchell and wife, Robbie of Oklahoma City; nieces, Heather Mitchell and Melissa Gallant; step-sister, Jerri Harkins and husband, Ed of Granbury, Texas; and many other family and friends who she cherished and loved deeply.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 11, 2025 at NorthChurch which is located at 2219 Woodlawn Avenue (behind Hampton Inn on Highway 33) in Guthrie. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home in Guthrie.
There will not be any visitation.
