On August 8, 1958, in Midland, Texas, he united in marriage to Mary Alice Barrett and to this union two children were born, Kathy and John.
Jackie is survived by his children Kathy Troxell and husband James, John Franks and fiancé Carol Gomez; sisters, Louise Allen, Peggy Swails, Ann Busby and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Jennifer Ozuna and husband Jason, Derek Troxell and wife Nikki Riehs, Elizabeth Johnson and husband Reggie, Dezzra Gomez and Destiny Gomez; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Ozuna, Sophia Ozuna, Dexter Riehs-Troxell, Hazel Riehs-Troxell, Elicia Plaza, Treyce Moody, Teyla Moody and Jazmine Johnson.
Jackie attended Tree of Life Lutheran Church and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, water skiing, camping, and most of all family time, especially with his grandchildren.
