Born December 10, 2000, he was raised in Douglasville before moving to Dawson County in 2019. Jacob was the first student ever enrolled in the Diesel Mechanics program at Lanier Technical College. He was employed as a diesel mechanic at Yancey Caterpillar. He enjoyed UGA Football, fishing, visiting the beach, working on his Jeep, shooting at the gun range, and working with his dad.
Surviving are his devoted wife, Heather Arendall, Dawsonville; mother, Jane Arendall and her fiancé, Gavin Shreve, Newnan; father and stepmother, Alan and Shawn Arendall, Douglasville; brothers, Judson Arendall, Zack Garner, Zac Wunderlich; sister, Julia Duff; mother in law, Teresa Davenport and her partner Tim Davis, Dawsonville; father in law, Dale Davenport and his wife Sherri Cantrell, Canton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rod Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in the McKee's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until the service hour.
All guests are being encouraged to wear red and black University of Georgia attire.
